Stuff’s a growin’
Last weekend we got an early start planting our garden. We bought several seedlings and starts for heirloom tomatoes, peppers, squash and strawberries. We also decided to try our hand at growing a few things form seed. Our sprouts are starting to come in for cilantro, cucumber and brussels sprouts.

5 months agoWe upcycled our old platform bed from the guest bedroom into a mini platform bed for Cooper. Sake uses it during the day when he’s not looking.

Removing some of the last remnants of the tacky brass “improvements” made in the 70’s-80’s in our bathroom. We decided to take down the double full pane mirrors on either side of the original built-in. We needed to refinish the walls and redo the outlet. An original Cristina Ruggiero watercolor brings the colors together.
7 months agoBack to some actual home repairs. We added a wood screen door to the back door for some air circulation and give the “kids” someplace to hang out. We got the door from our local ACE and the hardware from houseofantiquehardware.com

Catching up from the summer. This year the first Rose Park Bluegrass Festival. We had a front row seat from our patio so we set up the grill and made a day out of it.
